Meet Our Children's Director!

Welcome to LFC’s Children’s Page!
My name is Breanna Medina!
I’m from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. I have a degree in Early Childhood Education and Special Education. I taught 4th grade and I was a 3rd-5th grade Behavioral Specialist Teacher. I’ve always loved children! I have a passion for inspiring the youth and watching them grow! In my free time I like to read, go to the beach and hang out with my friends and family. My family is my pride and joy. Growing up my brother was allergic to fur and feathers so I’ve had some interesting pets like hermit crabs, geckos and a turtle. I love to meet new people, so please feel welcome to say hi when you see me around!

Frequently asked PDC questions
When is Playdate Cafe open?
Wednesdays 9-11:30 a.m. We follow the Hillsborough County Public School calendar. This program does not run during Thanksgiving, Christmas, Spring Break or Summer Vacation.
Is there a cost associated?
No, it is free! It is our gift to those who take care of babies up and through to young 4 year old’s.
What can I expect?
Our goal for PDC is to give parents a break to talk with other parents and network while their children play. You are not required to arrive on time and stay the full duration as there is no set program. We do ask that you remain with your children.
What are cleaning protocols?
Volunteers monitor toys to ensure they aren’t placed in children’s mouths, removing them for sanitizing. After each session, all equipment is sprayed with sanitizer and allowed to dry for 2 minutes. Most play equipment is used only once a week for optimal disinfection.
What age groups are allowed to attend?
This program is designed for infants to young 4 year olds, prior to attending VPK.
Do I have to be a member of the church to participate?
No, everyone is welcome!
